Well our newest addition to our family, Desi, has been a handful since the day we got her. Today she had her very first upset stomach after chomping down on our favorite bamboo plants. We had just gotten home from visiting my brother for his college graduation and Matthew had run out to the store to get a few items. I was resting in bed since I didn't sleep very well on the trip. About an hour later Desi starts running around the house and proceeds to throw up bamboo on the tree skirt. After being paranoid pet parents we researched online and found that thankfully bamboo is not poisonous to cats (but there sure are a lot of things that are!). We promptly threw the plants into the trash!
This is just one of many infractions this little "bundle of fur" has bestowed upon our household. She climbs the Christmas tree, curtains and anything hanging low enough for her to reach. She bites, chases and attacks. She puts everything into her mouth and has even gone so far as to rip up homework while I am grading it. However, at the end of the day all I can do is stand at laugh at her because even though she is really naughty, hopefully this is just a phase!
In this moment at this time, I pray that my kitten gets over her naughty streak!
