So, it has occured to me after almost 24 years of life that I am a night person. Surprisingly, it also just occured to Matt as we were outside pruning our two trees in the front at 9:30 at night. In our defense, we have to water the grass anyways so we get motivated while standing around watching the hose/sprinkler run. Our trees look much better. One I think I over trimmed a bit, but now you can see the rhododendrons (spelling) much more easily. We also took a walk to Starbucks (which was closed) and the Redbox at Walgreens to rent some movies to keep me occupied tonight. I love our walks that we have taken the past two nights because it gives us a chance to talk without the distractions of home. It is times like these that I think refresh our marriage beyond the every day tasks and responsibilities.
On a different note, I also attended a Brock function this evening to celebrate Jacob's graduation. There were many family members there and it was good to see everyone. I attended this event with my parents as Matt had to work. Now, I'm headed to watch some movies and relax. Tomorrow I plan to attack the rhododendrons! In this moment...at this time...I feel accomplished.
